Side. Back cover unlock switch to get to the battery.

Remove battery by pushing the stylus in the battery release switch.

Battery removed.

Remove the three Phillips head screws.

Remove the warranty sticker to unveil the fourth screw. The other sticker shown does not need to be removed.


Begin prying open the sides with a flat head screw driver. The tabs will loosen up.

Unplug the antenna connector on the wireless module.

Carefully pull the LCD and the PCB apart while unplugging the keypad connector. The two pieces should fold out.

All of the cables are taped down. The top cable is for the camera. The middle cable is for the LCD. The bottom cable is for the digitizer.


The wireless module is removable. One side is the bluetooth chipset and the reverse side is the 802.11b chipset if present depending on the model. The traces are on the board though.
