Windows x64 vs. Windows

Is it worth it to upgrade my copy of windows professional to windows x64 professional edition ( i already have it). I have an athlon 4200+ x2 with a gig of ram.

64 bit is the way to go. I would definitely upgrade to make full use of your processor.

Yes, just make sure you have all the 64-bit drivers for your hardware.

You just need to look for them, try Google. Some things may not have 64bit drivers yet, though.

I have a AMD Atholon 64 3200+, If I wanted to run win xp64, I shouldn't have any problems though right?
