What part of Windows 7 (x64) manages the resources (drawing, repainting) of the network tooltip in the systray (the one that says 'Network - Internet access' | 'My network - No internet access')?
Lastly I had this problem where this tooltip would not go away. I tried calling its repaint() method by clicking the 'show desktop' button but the tooltip remained drawn and focused on top of everything else. Very strange.
I only fixed it by killing explorer.exe and restarting it.
This is why I am wondering what actually manages its drawing.
Thanks
