Right click the speaker icon and open recording devices. Enable the mic and set the levels.

isn't this a camera driver?

The mic is enabled and the levels are up. It still doesnt work it only ever records a fuzzy noise and never picks up my voice. I know others have the same problem with win7 on netbooks

im starting to think they built the internal mic a milimeter away from the fan or something. I downloaded that driver but same result

It's not just you having a problem with that netbook.
Where is the gain for the mic set?

I tried it on all different levels but still didnt work. What i dont get though is that i can talk on skype without a problem but the internal mic doesnt work with any other applications
