It's been a while since I've been here... Anyway I have a question about upgrading my friends Macbook since I know (almost) nothing about OSX.
As some may know, Mr. Jobs has announced the release date of OS X Lion (v10.7) to be next month. I'm trying to find an upgrade path to OS X Lion for a Macbook running OS X Tiger (v10.4) and a Core 2 Duo CPU.
I have heard that Lion will only be available through the App Store, which would mean having to upgrade to Snow Leopard (v10.6) first. Would Tiger -> Snow Leopard (Clean installation) -> Lion (When it releases) be my best/only option?
