i have an alienware m15x. my touchpad works but then stops because the computer thinks a usb device is plugged in. I tried installing the updated driver from alienwares website but when i go to install it pops up a message saying You have to run the 64 bit version of DPinst.exe on this machine. i don't know where to download this. i already googled it and nothing on google helped me. I also tried installing the latest wdk version which is microsofts driver kit which i heard has the dpinst.exe in it. I did not work. how get that dpinst to work so i can get my touchpad working?
