Right place? Computer slow, ect...

not sure if right place but, my compaq laptop has been slow and freezing plus giving me bluescreens. I have done everything i could think of... it's a Compaq Prisario CQ56 with an amd v140 cpu and 2 gigs of ram.... my other two 15 inch laptops have pentium 4 cpu with 2 gigs of ram and they run better and faster plus they don't freeze and bluescreen..... heck my new netbook even runs 3X better then my CQ56! I just want to get this computer to run better!

As for the blue screens download and run this Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files. then take a screenshot and upload here. Give this a run http://www.computerforums.org/forums/cyber-safety-computer-security/pc-cleanup-toolbox-219988.html except for the blackviper tools which is for more advanced users..

for blue screens I always seem to get something like "kernal inpage error" but it seems that this is my only computer which slows down, and somtimes freeze and crash
