Question about Google and Internet Explorer

In IE, click Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab. Check to make sure that the security level for your Internet set to at least medium or medium high.
It is already set to Medium-high.
Maybe I haven't expressed the problem well enough. I have absolutely no problem using Internet Explorer to go to any website that I've ever wanted to go to. And, when I'm using AOL, I have no problem using Google to take me to any website that I choose after doing a Google search.
My problem is that when I go to Internet Explorer from my desktop, then use Internet Explorer to get me to Google, Google won't take me to any website that I choose.
In other words, no problem using Google when I go there from AOL, but when I go there from Internet Explorer, Google won't do anything.
