Hey All!

My computer would start up perfectly fine, but it would randomly lag while on Windows (if I'm browsing), the cursor would start to lag and then it'll just randomly reboot, and I get this error:

NVIDIA Boot Agent 249.0542
PXE-E61 Media Test Failure, Check Cable
PXE-M0F Exiting NVIDIA Boot Agent

I did a Google search, and the tried the solutions and they didn't work. I tried looking at the boot sequences, and making the primary as the hard drive, and that didn't work. I restored the default BIOS settings, and that didn't work. I also unplugged, and replugged both the hard drive, and dvd-rom (maybe there was a faulty wire) and that didn't work neither.

The weird thing is, after I get that error I would shut my computer off. Wait two minutes, boot it back up and it would be perfectly fine.

Does anybody have any solutions to this problem?

Faulty power, bad cable (did you replace all of the cables or just replug?) or a failing drive.
