I tried Linux Fedora a while back and I had remembered I had so much trouble with it. I am not computer illiterate nor a computer genius. But I can learn quickly and get around, but I had trouble with even installing stuff.

What is the best Linux to start with and where is a good site to dl and learn about it?

Thanks.

hmm...idk much about it either...but id prolly either make a new thread about it in the social lounge or hardware and software forums :D

Try LiveCDs like Linux Knoppix, which is useful for quick point to point applications when your computer doesn't boot from hard drive
Knoppix uses RAM as memory so you don't have to partition or do anything to you hard drive for that matter
I am having trouble with the ISO image though ...

Fedora seemd quite beginner friendly to me, but its been decades since I've been a beginner with computers. So don't take my word for it. :)

Well, I'm no beginner with computers, but I just havn't ventured too far into Linux.
