I've managed to pick up a Samsung NC10 cheap but it's got a terrible atom processor which makes Windows diabolically shocking on it.
My current solution is to look to a linux distribution for it. Its been a while since i played with linux and I don't know what's best for a netbook.
It's currently got Ubuntu 11.10 installed but should i make a change to Puppy or Kubuntu to squeeze a bit more performance out of the little rubbish unit?
I just want as much speed as i can out of basic tasks, I was struggling to stream a video to a second monitor at 1440x900, it was laggy as hell. I'm not expecting miracles but any distro that will give me better slightly performance would be a winner.
