Launch Programme at start

Ok I am doing this for my uncle, basically he is not very good with computing, thus needs something simple to get on the internet with.
So he has a "Network 3" Dongle and when you boot the machine the icon is on the desktop...is there a way I can get it so that it loads straight away at startup? Maybe a simple script?

Find the program in the program files folder then create a shortcut in the Startup folder
