Hi friends. I have 7640+7670 dual graphics combination in my laptop. Now when i open catalyst control centre, it allows me only two options 1) Use only the apu 2) Use apu+gpu. There is no third option for using only the gpu. So is there any way to force an application/game to run only on discrete gpu instead of dual graphics cause some games horribly micro stutter

If it's using both gpus at once, you may be able to disable it under the crossfire settings. I'm not entirely sure how amd's dual graphics work though. It may only be able to drive the display with the apu, in which case there isn't anything you can do.

got it done. :) right click on desktop>amd vision centre>performance>disable dual graphics. Then again right click on desktop>switchablegraphics and set the .exe of the desired application to high performance
