Folder on my desktop

There is this folder on my desktop from a movie i downloaded awhile ago and i deleted it but the empty folder still remain on my desktop how can i get rid of it.
I delete it but when i restart my computer it comes back any help would be apprechiated, i also tried deleting it in safe mode but it still came back. thanks.

Yeah i'd do a virus scan.

What kind of error message are you getting?

No it's not a virus i scanned it and there is no error message i just delete it it goes to recycling bin i empty recycling bin it appears it's gone but when you restart the computer it comes back
