Deleting Drives/Windows Explorer History

I've read many articles on hiding hard drives and have done such. I have also read many articles on deleteing/turning off history in the address bar of windows explorer (NOT INTERNET EXPLORER).

I've done all that has been listed in all of the articles I have read, however, files/folder history in the address bar is gone. If you go to a drive for example G: and then click back to my computer, drop down the address bar, G: still shows up as history.

Right click on computer and click delete history and it goes away.

I do not want the drive to show as history, but I want it to be accessible.

WIndows 7 Professional 64

TIA

It is very sad to say that that is impossible from what I know. Oh wait, it is not if you are willing to access your drive and folder from the shell (dos prompt). Windows is just doing exactly what it suppose to do, keep recent records of your visitation of a drive ...
