Dear all,
I have just been thinking about this lately, amidst some students complaining how much they are being restricted to on their school laptops.
Surely as general maintenance tools, even restricted users, should be able to use the defrag and scandisk programs? You cant do anything bad to a computer except good if you run them, so why are these simple functions blocked?
I asked the IT department many a time, but they dont reply. Are they trying to hide from something, or am I not thinking clearly enough on the subject?
