I have a very frustrating problem. I cannot download and install .NET Framework 3.5, because for some reason I cannot access the Microsoft server. I do not know why, but whenever I try to go to Microsoft.com all I get is "Oops! This link appears to be broken" (I use Chrome, but I get a similar message when I use IE and Firefox). I really gotta get .NET 3.5, but in order to install it, you have to have access to the Microsoft server, which I do not seem to have. Please, I need some help!

Can't you just use Windows update? Why go to microsoft.com?..

He can not connect to the Microsoft server apparently.
It sounds like he might be using a pirated Windows and didn't disable the Windows Genuine Activator or his internet is a POS.

Either one, but try the link first. It's the DL to the installer.

Can you ping microsoft.com? Can you sign into live messenger (if you've got an account?)

Don't jump to the conclusion that he's using a pirated version of windows just from this - I've had similar problems a couple of times on perfectly legitimate versions of XP.
