Booting with Memtest86?

I downloaded memtest86 3.4a from the memtest website and I've been trying to burn it onto a CD so I can boot it and run some tests. First of all, I'd like to know if 3.4a is even an ISO? Or do I have to install it another way? 3.5 says it only supports less than 4 gigs and I have exactly 4 gigs so I must use version 3.4a.

3.5 Says its an ISO and even shows .iso at the end

3.4a says "Pre-Compiled Memtest86 v3.4a installable from Windows and DOS"

What does that mean? How would I install and use it?

Go here and download the latest Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO, unzip and burn it to CD.

Thanks. I must have gone to the wrong website, now I should be able to get this to work since I have the right file!

If not, use a Ubuntu cd. There is a memtest feature that is built into the iso.
