Best FREE time scheduling software/day organiser

Hi,
I would normally spend a while goggling around, but as time is scarce, can anybody recommend some free good time scheduling software which I can set up to remind me of things during the day at specified time? Such as at 1:00 attend a certain meeting, 19:00 go play sports etc. I did a quick search and some basic ugly looking software popped up, but I do want something which looks aesthetically pleasing as well.

Outlook from the Microsoft office package has a built in task and appointment manager and you can set it to remind you so many minutes before the event. pretty basic but does the job nicely and no extra software.
