Back Up Software

Hi all,

There are a number of backup software around and want to know, what type of back up would take like a snapshot of your days' activity.

For example, suppose I have a word document that was edited on Wednesday and was backed up through the software, the next day you make a few changes and it was backed up on that same day. So essentially I would have the same document but different revisions (2 files) as one is a backup of Wednesday and the other on Thursday.

Also if you could point me to the right direction for the appropriate software that would be appreciated.

Cheers

Don't know about snapshots. But i use Google drive.
with that you don't have to worry about multiple files, and it's all online.
15gb is free. 100gb costs 2 dollars a month.

Look into Acronis True Image. They provide an option for incremental backups which backs up only changes made to the system (files, programs, settings etc.) You can set it to do daily incremental backups. You won't have any duplicated files on your hard drive, but you will have the ability to go back to a certain day and restore any file to the status of that particular day.
