Hello everyone, It's been a while since I posted here, how you all doing? 
Anyways, about 5 years ago I tried Independence war 2 a space simulator PC game (IW2) and I absolutely loved it! The whole space pirate thing was really cool. Last night I was thinking of installing it again on my PC, but decided to see if there are any other cool space simulator games out there, after all IW2 was released in 1999. After about 1h of goggling, I found "X3 Terran Conflict". Apparently X3 goes way back they have about 6 different X3 games, but the latest is "X3 Terran Conflict". I had never played any of the X3 games, and decided to give it a try. I had just installed the game, and the 1st thing its asking me is to select one out of 4 different character to start playing. So my question is to the people who tried this game in the past, for someone who really liked IW2 and never played any of the X3 games what would be a best character to go with? (depending on who u selected the game will take a different game play)
