well that sucks, it looks like Quad Cores are coming to the gaming world faster than i expected, i was hoping they started to use quads around next summer or so...

It's not a 'must' which is good.

It is good to see that game companys are beggining to use quad core technology.

I've got an AMD64 X2 4200+.. 2.2Ghz.

my video card is the only thing that doesnt, my cpu wouldent if it wasent overclocked =D oc ftw!!! vid card bottlenecking ure computer ftl......

I think the requirements are pretty high. Most games today only need something like a p4 3.0ghz

actually, most recent games need an Dual Core.

So.. how long do you guys think our Dual Cores will last in the gaming world?

Looks like you only need a core 2 which is excellent news!
