Using PC Keyboard To Play Drums

Hi all,

Ive been hunting around for several years online
for a good program which would allow me to play
drum sounds on my keyboard.

I know that there are several programs out there
but they use MIDI sounds which are not realistic
enough to satisfy.

The best program Ive found so far is called "Pyros Drums"
which plays WAV file samples of "realistic" drums
noises by tapping on your computer's keyboard.

Im wondering if anyone knows of something similar,
it would be really appreciated as i love drumming
but i cant afford to buy a real drumset :)

Thanks...

Thats what im looking for... something ev

Theres something called Fruity Loops which contains other pieces of music making software too, along with a drum sampler. Think it has a trial since its not free...

I'm sure there are good free alternatives though

Hi Kage :) Mr 700mb Sony CDs with you here :)

I tried fruity loops before......... this particular program im
after makes a different drum noise when you hit any button
on your keyboard.

im not after making loops.... im after something dynamic,
any key you hit on the keyboard will produce a sound
instantly.... if you have 3000 WATT speakers attached
to the back of your PC while hitting the keyboard buttons,
you will shake the house :)

if you have 3000 watt speakers hooked up to any audio source you'll be able to shake the house!!! (if you mean 3000watts RMS)

if you like drumming that much, save up for a kit. I'm pretty keen on the drums tooand i'm saving for them, but as i'm in the process of buying a house i'm not doing too well on the drums fund!
