ok guys ive recently been getting calls from an 0870 number on my mobile and when i answer it just rings as if im calling them,

im not asking for your help on this im just letting you know that i found an extremely useful place to look up stuff like this,

im not trying to advertise just think alot of members here may have had strange calsl that they wonna check up on jus enter the number they called on in the top left coner and search it

i would have your service provider put a block on that # who is spamming you..

yeah block # and call back when they don't expect it. could it be a fax or someone on dialup phone lines.

Yeah thats a great site, I've had to use it in the past

it's a telemarketing call. an auto dialler calls out a load of numbers at once, when you answer it you get put through to a switchboard ready to speak to another person.

either get the number blocked or wait it out and ask to be removed from their database
