do you just lock the spam or do you delete it, there is a lot of locked post about that i feel should be deleted.

The Mods can't delete Threads - so we Lock them. Unless David goes around then looking at each Thread and wondering whether to delete it it won't happen - and that would defeat the object of having Mods which is to save David a Job.
