My sweet new x-fi soundcard came today to replace my soundblaster LIVE!. Well its pretty awesome, there are a crap load of programs that come with this thing. I still havent figured out what half of them do but my music sounds so much better so do games. Here are some benchmarks I ran
These are my results from 3DMark03's sound test.

60 sounds 35.8
X-fi Xtreme Music

Thats a pretty big improvement ecspecially at 60 sounds. I think I just need to invest in some better speakers now to replace my Logitech x-530's. Im not sure yet though if it was worth the $120
