Well all you people outside the US probably wont know who Reggie White is or was. But most people past the age of 16 or so in the US will remmber that name.

He was a great NFL player, soon to be a Hall of Famer. He played for the Green Bay Packers. winterfreshpwnz as a packer fan I am sure is bummed out.

He was only 43 and died of a Heart Attack.

Seems like a lot of athletes are dying at young ages from 35 - 45.

I think it would either be linked to working out too much, or using steroids...

It wasn't because he worked out too much or used steroids.. he had a condition which causes are unknown...

White had the disease, known as sarcoidosis, for several years, family spokesman Keith Johnson said Sunday. He described it as a respiratory ailment that affected his sleep.

On its Web site, the American Lung Association describes sarcoidosis as a disease characterized by the presence of small areas of inflamed cells that can attack any organ of the body but is most frequently found in the lungs.

The cause of the disease, which is most common among blacks and white northern Europeans, is not known.

Sleep apnea causes people to stop breathing repeatedly - in some cases, hundreds of times - during their sleep.

Yeah, there are people out their relishing his atopsy report because they would just love to paint the picture as a steroid user.

If he is, which he might be, I wont care cuz he was one of the nicest kindest NFL players ever to play.
