Igniting exhaust gases somehow. Hopefully the pressure created by the exhaust is enough to keep the fire from jumping back through your headers. That would be epicly bad.

Yeah, it's like a strong wind in the pipes. But it wouldn't be a big deal if it back fired. It would shoot flames to the exhaust ports, but it wouldn't do any harm.
