I don't think so. GH:WT makes use of a new feature on the little solo board which the GH2 controller wont have. Although the GH2 controller worked on GH3, so does the GH3 controller work on GH:WT? I don't know. But i'm no expert so i'll await someone proving me wrong.

The guitar for World Tour has some new features, but the GHII guitar will work just fine.
If you get the USB Guitar Hero controller, you can use Frets on Fire to basically have guitar hero on your PC..

if you use previous guitar hero controllers, then you cant do online 2V2 or Band V Band.

Well I mean I have GH3 for PC, I got the game and the guitar from Target for $50 for PC/Mac, and I had GH:Aerosmith but it sucked balls, so I threw it out...I just want WT because it has some neat songs. I can add them into my GH3 game but I don't want to do that atm
