any one no any good programs to split a dvd like 4.4G to 2.2G in to peaces
oh also its in vob img format

and in case your wondering im doing this because my up converter dvd player lets me play files off my ipod mini but it cant only hold 3.7G

You can use DVD shrink and downsize the file. About actually splitting it, I dunno.

Why not just play DVDs on a DVD player using the DVD disc? Isn't it so much simpler or are you trying to do something complicated?

If your running Vista use Windows DVD Maker. You can take each individual segment from the DVD and place them in chronological order.

I presume you want to put a DVD on several CD's? If so just add up several segments until your around the maximum CD or whatever media format your using. Then publish the project and burn. After thats published put the rest of the files on the second disc.

You can change the overall quality as well to shrink it to fit more on a disc if you want as well. Normally each segment on a DVD is 15mins.

You can still use DVD Shrink with VOB files as far as I remember. If it's copy protected it may or may not work though...
