DVD to AVI (Or MPG,WMV,ETC)

Hey, Got these DVD's (that I bought) and want to make them into playable formats, and not really that familiar with the DVD conversions.. How do I go about converting to VOBs, IFOs, and BUPs into one file

I know a bit about it but Pretend I'm a total dumbass so that I can get the full info out of it if you could.

Here's an example of what I'm dealing with, this one in particular is My sisters dukes of hazzard dvd.

(Incase your wondering why I would want to do this It's because I want to put the files on my Portable Player)

Use WinAVI converter have never had any problems with it, and does it reasonably quickly as well. Its all pretty self explanatory and does what it says on the tin
