british vs american words

so another thread gave me the idea for this one bc im slightly ignorant about the lingo differences between the UK and the US so basically this is a thread to clarify those differences.

example:
in america the hood of a car is called a hood.
in britain it is called a bonnet correct?

the worst american to english word is fanny , over in the usa it means bottom but in the uk it means something completely different

A bum with a bag? That's nto a term I've ever heard, so idk might be a british only thing. Not to sure. Maybe east coast? :confused: :p
