I might actually buy it. Sure the format is dead, but there are some nice titles in there and it'd be cheaper then renting them

Yeah I agree, you'll be able to pickup the player + a few films cheap as anyone on ebay

Yeah, its a pretty cheap standard DVD player too when all else fails
Shows that jumping on the bandwagon early, is never a good option with technology. Wheather its because of lack of driver support/poor drivers, no titles, etc, etc.
