Hey guys. What is the best way to ship RAM?

I know to use an anti static bag. I have a few of those. But what do I send it in? A manila envelope? A padded manila envelope?

I've never shipped anything before, let alone computer parts.

Thanks!

I sent cheap ram in a regular evelope, good ram in a padded manilla,

And new ram just went in the original plastic packaging into a manilla envelope

If its alot of ram put it in a small box

If youre afraid it will bend put it in a dvd case

NEVER send ram in a plain envelope. That's never a good idea, even if you have never had any problems.

A padded envelope with the memory in it's original packaging is OK. The best way if you don't have the original packaging is to put them in an anti-static bag, wrap them in bubble wrap, and place them in a small box. You could also use packing peanuts instead of bubble wrap. The post office will have a nice selection of boxes you can buy. I've used the boxes that personal checks from the bank come in.

I've had ram sent to me from newegg in the original plastic packaging and in a padded envelope like 3 times now. They all got here in once piece.
