This is the second time I've posted a message that I needed to delete, and couldn't.

I don't know of any forum that let's you delete your own posts/threads. That's the realm of the mods.

Most owners/admins in their right minds do not have the delete function available to members. And the mods can only do a soft delete.
This is to prevent someone from starting a flame war then deleting the thread or post and playing innocent. We had that problem a good while back with one member in particular.
If you make a post or thread in error, just let a mod know. These kids are good and will take care of it.

I have no intention of deleting my threads. I just wanted to delete one of my posts that I didn't realize that I posted in the wrong thread because I clicked on the wrong

. The other was me thinking that someone was asking me a question. I failed to notice that the other member had quoted another member, and the question was directed at him.

Anyway, There are some other vB boards that allow members to delete their own posts.
