Im done with domain, child domain, dhcp, but dont know how to setup IIS and proxy server?

Tasks to be Completed
Task-1: Domain Controller and Client Nodes
set-up the above server and workstations and configure these for internetworking.

Task-2: DHCP Client Setup
configure a client machine so that it can obtain an IP address from a DHCP server,

Task-3: Child Domain
set up a child domain to your root domain.

Task-4: Internet Information Server
Install a IIS server, which will run File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). configure client browsers and FTP client programs to test their functionality.

Task-5: Proxy Server
install a Proxy Server that will have access to the Internet

to install IIS go to add remove windows components, and select this (or in windows 2008 look at the roles selection on the server manager screen).

for a proxy server, what proxy server do you want to use?

in my company we use "F-secure web filtering" to act as our proxy server. This proxy filters users internet access and also scans all requests for viruses at the same time

My proxy of choice is Boundary Server, McAfee based file scanning - very thorough (too thorough sometimes!!) this is policy based, with each of the policies for staff and student groups assigned through AD. Not overly expensive, scalable solution, robust - c.500k page requests a day.
