I have Windows XP on one machine with a Linksys wireless usb adaptor and Fedora Linux on a second machine.
I have both machines connected with a crossover cable and have configured them:
Machine 1 Machine 2
IP 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Router 192.168.0.3 192.168.0.1
I would like to be able to acces the internet on the linux machine, but have been unable.
If i bridge the network card and the wiress connection of the MS machine I am unable to configue the linux IP as listed above and if i dont bridge my wireless connection to the internet is knocked out.
Is it possible to what i want to do?
Am i going about this all wrong?
