Overclocking my XFX HD 5770 & what stress test do i use

Hey guys i just recently bought a XFX HD 5770 card and i want to OC it btw Im a noob with this. The Tools Im using are MSI Afterburner, CCC, & GPU-Z. My question is i dont know what to use to stress test my OC for stability to make sure im not having any problems. What is the ideal idle temp and full load temp i should be looking for. Should I have the the fan on auto or manual. Here is a screen shoot of my GPU-Z

Stress test in furmark or OCCT. Both will make it get hot as hell.

For temps, it's really hard to say. It mainly depends on what you are comfortable with.

I had mine at 920 mhz, 1.2v. Ran 70C at 100% fan speed, wasn't uncomfortable with it at all. I went back to stock because the noise drove me crazy.

Well, it depends on how much you want to risk. Typically, you should keep it under 80-90C if possible, but I've had mine to like 110C with a volt mod and an epic massive cooler on it. The chip topped out at around 1150 MHz.

I have my XFX OC'd to 900Mhz and fan at 50% idles around 42C in a cooler master HAF 932 case.

word...so i just download the new or it maybe old by now 3dmark 11 w/ the Deep Sea Demo and my question is how long do i run the the stress test for, or do i just run it till it reach a constant temp then watch to see if it stable
