whats the issue? do you not have any internet access? Is this computer an ftp server or do you need to rdp into. It does not need to show up in there. why is grandmas pc even in there?
I am trying to set up a FTP server so my friends and I can upload pictures and various .swf files. I have managed to do this once before and was successful with it.

ah got ya, remote desktop. Dont worry about the computer name just get the ip addy of you machine and put it in there the name shouldnt effect it, or does it make you enter the name?
