I'm not sure whether this is more of a hacking question rather than a networking question but either way its realy getting to me. I'm at university and have a local area connection to the University Network enabling the internet connection. However there is a proxy server that restricts what we can do by some great margin.
I'm wanting to connect to a friends computer (i already have their permission) and share their connection...it is a slightly unethical question to ask I know, but the restrictions stop us from ftp'ing with friends, any downloads and most annoyingly, it stops us from being able to play online multiplayer games (such as counterstrike, Quake III Arena etc...)...all things that myself and my mates love to do.
The main problem is...i have no idea how to connect via my friends computer, although i know it is possible. If anyone could help it would be very much appreciated.
