Alot of you know that I've been teaching myself networking. I decided to go out and buy a book which I have almost read the entire thing in a few days (I just eat this kind of stuff up, I love it!). Its really good, it gets really specific and now I understand IP all the way down to its binary code.
Anyways as the new 128 bit IPv6 comes into play... how do they switch everything from the 32 bit IPv4? That is a lot of computers to switch over... Are they going to start selling DHCP operating systems that assigns these 128 bit IP addresses and eventually over time all computers will work on the 128 bit IPv6?
