Hi

I looked at my NIC details and was worried that I dont have TCP/IP version 6 protocol installed, is there any way to install it on Windows XP Professional?

(Correct me if im wrong) About 1 million websites are uploaded to the Internet every month, so I gess that we are going to run out of TCP/IP v4 address and start to use the Hex Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol version 6.

That's an issue for your modem, not your OS. The only IPs windows cares about are it's own network address (usually in the 192.x.x.x variety) and the router's IP. Everything else is the modem & ISP's problem.
