Which Router?

I own an HP laptop. I am disabled so money is very tight. I am currently on SuddenLink cable and internet. I am renting their router @ $10 a month. Can someone suggest a router that I can buy from WM?
I don't game but watch an occasional YouTube video every now and then. I just do my monthly bills and surf on my laptop.
I'm not too computer savvy, but I think my internet is 1.5 something or another. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i would talk to yor internet service provider about what options you have.

or you can change to a diffrent ISP some even provide free modem/routers with there plans.
