Proxy Issues

I wanted to watch US Netflix on my Canadian account. I managed to do it, but now I cannot find a way to go back to the Canadian version.

I got to the US version by going to my Internet Settings in Google Chrome and adding a US proxy into my LAN settings. I was told that I could just turn it off by dis-selecting 'Use a proxy server for your LAN' and re-selecting 'Automatically detect settings'... but still the US Netflix was there after I did so. Now it has affected all the computers in the house on my network, giving them the US Netflix, and messing up other stuff.

Though I deleted the proxy from my settings, I know it's still there somehow. When I Google 'what is my IP address' it shows a different address than what my network says it should be. I've done a system restore, but that did not change anything.

How do I get this damn proxy off my computer?? Please help!

Check the computer internet settings. The proxy is most likely set there.

also, try clearing cookies etc, there may be something there that is keeping you on the US site now.
