Hello. I now have a new found interest in computers and networking and do not know much about it. Anyway, I installed a ethernet network card in a open PCI slot in my computer. Windows recognized the card right away and installed a driver for the card. When I installed Verizon DSL, it did not recognize the card. When I looked at system properties, it said these was a problem with the driver. So I uninstalled the card and reinstalled the driver. Same thing happens. Right now I am using a USB connection for DSL. Is a ethernet connection faster? Also, any help fixing the NIC problem is appreciated. BTW, I am running Windows ME. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Yes, actually I did check Belkin's website, and there is not an updated driver. I also checked Update and installed everything Microsoft recommended. Do not know what the problem coud be.
