Net Meeting Probelm, Need Help!!!!

Im trying to connect to my mates computer over netmeeting through a DSL connection.

We are both running on DSL connections and are both behind routers with embeded firewalls, we have set up netmeeting with the ip of the default gateway. but nothing!!!

Anyone????????????????

Yes, we've disabled one and both firewalls seperately to see the effect. We're able to connect when one firewall is down, but when there both up, its just not happening.
We want the firewalls kepted up because of the sensitive information kepted on the LAN.

Leave your firewalls running and just open up the ports for netmeeting. Most routers/firewalls have a GUI, just find out what port netmeeting uses and do some port forwarding on the router or open the ports in the firewall, should be a non issue after that
