Long distance routers..

hey guys i need a router that can go from my house to the upstairs of my shop.. (its going to be used for my xbox up there (halo). The xbox will have a wireless set up too it. I need a router that will go in my house (about 300 feet away or so) and still have a strong enough signal to get to the xbox's wireless setup and enable me to play halo without lagging out. (i dont have any neighbors to worry about if security issues were going to come up.) do they make a router like this? how much and where can i get it? and brands and models to look for!

if you get a linksys WRT54G version 3, there is a hack for the firmware, that allows you to bump up the signal strength that the router puts out. default i belive is like 48MW or so and it can be pushed up to 82. works well
