Connect to my XBox?

Alright, I basicly want to connect my XBox to the internet. BUT...I do not know how....I'm trying to use my ethernet port on my motherboard in conjunction with a linksys wireless router and an wireless card in my computer......So....I have an Intel D865PERL motherboard....can I connect my XBox to the internet or am I just wasting my time?

No, You need an internet connection....I have XBConnect 4.....I need an internet connection....I have the cable plugged in but still I get no internet connection.....you know what I'm sayin'?
