Can I install a wireless router without the installation wizard?

I ordered a D-Link DI-524 wireless router to use with my Nintendo DS. I checked to see if their was some system requirements for computers, but I didn't see anything. Turns out I can't run the installation wizard with Windows 98. Can I still install the router? If it's possible, could someone help me out?

Do you have any previous internet connections still running? I'm just wondering, cause' when I set up a router the other day for someone so they could get on ADSL, I had to disable their ISDN (and unplug all the cables) before the computer would pick up the router (Linkeys)... Then I had to go into the 198.168.0.1 IP address and configure it (with the help of some guys at the other end, to get the right settings, for the router and the specific network they were on, to make sure it was working at both ends).

Note: This wasn't wireless though, so there's probably a bit of difference.

thats becasue your network is not 192.168.0.x

plug your computer into the router and reboot your pc. Goto http:\\192.168.0.1

That's what I did. I got it to connect once, but I couldn't open the page that explains it, so I had to try again. I could never get it to work again, so I gave up and haven't tried since. I might give it another go tonight, but I don't really feel like getting pissed off again.
