Hey all, new to these forums.

I have an old machine that works well for me. I will be upgrading in the coming year and will be looking for suggestions then.

As for now I will need some help with RAM.

I have an old computer, 2006 I think??? Anyway. I have XP and I just need some more RAM.

I found

Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) PC2 6400 PC6400 6400U Non-ECC 800MHz 800 DDR2 CT25664AA800

Thats all I need, I just want to find it cheaper than $46 shipped. Is that possible?

No, will it not recognize 4GB of RAM?

The memory I posted was from Crucial.com. I used the supplied computer scanner for the "guaranteed" compatibility.

Yeah, thats what I read. Good to have it reaffirmed though.
